2 Together We Cope staffers named directors

TWC is proud to announce the appointments of two longtime staffers to the position of director.

Gina Rydz is the new Director of Grants and Programs, where she monitors the vital flow of financial resources coming to the agency and directs those funds to various programs provided by TWC. A south suburban native, she recently moved to Indiana. Gina did an internship with TWC in 2011 while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, then was hired as a housing program coordinator before becoming grants manager. “I love knowing that our agency makes a difference in our community,” she said, “and I’m grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to learn and grow professionally by working in several departments at TWC.”

Souheir Rahman of Frankfort is the new Director of Client Services. With a bachelor’s degree in social work, she has broad experience working with people in several settings. She worked in a facility serving mentally challenged individuals, managed a social service agency in Bridgeview, and established a community center for youth. Souheir came to TWC in 2017 and worked her way up to client services manager. “Making a difference in the lives of others, no matter how small, is what I enjoy most at TWC,” she said. “I am surrounded by a team of people who truly care about our clients.”
