TWC board member raises $28,000

Together We Cope board member Dominic Kowalczyk raised nearly $28,000 for TWC this past holiday season through the annual Christmas lights display at his Tinley Park home from Dec. 1 through 31.

“Team Kowalczyk” has grown to about 80 members now who help decorate Dominic and Alyssa’s home each December, drawing big crowds to enjoy the spectacle and raising funds for Together We Cope. They gather goodwill donations left in a collection box in front of their home, as well as individual donations made by family and friends they invite to a Christmas party at their home. 

“I have to thank our family and friends for all the work they do” on this project, Dominic said. 

Dominic was named to the TWC board of directors in 2021. Previously, he served on the agency’s fundraising committee. He and Alyssa also have been presenting sponsors of Together We Cope’s annual dinner dance through their company, Construction Concepts of Illinois.
