How we help

Need help but not sure how to get it.  Call TWC during regular business hours and one of our client services representatives will take care of you. Our main phone number is 708-633-5040. Please note, during high volume call times, a volunteer or our receptionist will take down your information (name, phone number(s), size of family, address and which type of help you need) and a case manager will return your call within 72 hours. 

*Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently only “seeing” individuals/families via phone, email and virtual settings.

Thursday: 1pm – 6pm
Closed Saturday and Sunday

    • Individuals residing within our service area are eligible to receive groceries once a month.
    • Individuals who do not live within our service area are allowed one bag of emergency food, one time each year.

Service Area

We serve 27 south suburban communities which encompasses all of Orland, Palos, and Bremen townships and includes the suburban part of Worth Township. Residents of this service area are eligible for help from Together We Cope. If you live in one of these towns, we have helped your neighbor: Alsip • Blue Island • Bridgeview • Chicago Ridge • Country Club Hills • Crestwood • Evergreen Park • Garden Homes • Harvey • Hazel Crest • Hickory Hills • Hometown • Homewood • Markham • Merrionette Park • Midlothian • Oak Forest • Oak Lawn • Orland Hills • Orland Park • Palos Heights • Palos Hills • Palos Park • Posen • Robbins • Tinley Park and Worth.

We help those people who need help within our service area.
*Our Service Area does not include the Mount Greenwood neighborhood (in Worth Township) because it is a part of the City of Chicago.  If you do not live within the Together We Cope boundaries, we suggest that you call your township office and local churches for additional assistance.  If you live in suburban Cook County you can also call the Homeless Prevention Center at (877) 426-6515.
